Another Blizzard

Went to a great show last night-- Yonder Mountain String Band, and danced my little patooshky off. Then driving home from South Lake Tahoe, I missed the turn for the road that goes around the lake to carry me home and instead ended up in Carson City-- what is Carson City? I think that's where the Price is Right or something is based.
It's funny when you go to a bluegrass concert, everyone looks familiar-- even if you're in a different city or continent for that matter. Dancing hippies look the same everywhere.
Tomorrow I set off for a long-awaited backcountry ski trip. The winter weather today is fiercer than it has been for months, thus I am a little nervous about it-- aout what? getting lost, freezing to death, avalanches? I think it will be fine and fun-- lots o'couscous to keep us nourished.
